The City of Valley Mills is located in beautiful Bosque County on State Highway 6, approximately 25 miles northwest of Waco. The form of government is a Type A General Rule City and consists of a Mayor and 5 council members. The city is a small close community with 1203 residence. Valley Mills was first organized in the area now known as FM 1637 on the north side of the Bosque River.
