Water, Trash and Sewage FAQ
How do I sign up for water service?
You can either print the application below or fill one out at City Hall. A $150 deposit is required for residence service as well as a $20 non-refundable service fee.
When will I be billed?
Bills are mailed on the first business day of the month. Payments are due by close of business on the 15th unless otherwise listed on the bill. Payments received after close of business on the due date will incur a $15 late fee.

When will my trash be picked up?
The City of Valley Mills contracts with Waste Connections of Central Texas. The residential garbage rate for the City is $14.75 Residents do not need to provide their own trash cans. Trash is picked up every Friday. Your garbage cans should be placed at the curb no later that 7:30 am on Friday. Bulk pick up is the 2nd Saturday of the month. If you would like to be placed on the Bulk Pick Up List, please call City Hall no later than noon the Friday before.

If your water bill is not paid in full your water will be cut off by 10:00 a.m. on or about the 26th of each month. A $50.00 reconnect fee will be added to your balance. Both the water bill and the $50.00 reconnect fee must be paid prior to having the water turned back on.
